Meet Bethany Yellowtail, Native American designer from Wyola, Montana.
Her designs are connected to the people, the land and her ancestors. When you see her designs, you feel exactly that.
For the 50th anniversary of our iconic Active Jac, we partnered with Bethany to incorporate her designs. Bethany invited us into her home, onto her family’s ranch, to meet her community and hear the powerful stories they have to share.
Bethany opened up her home to us and invited us to her family ranch where we shadowed her family as they went about their day.
For generations, the Yellowtails have called Wyola home, and the entire town came out to meet us. We were graciously invited to a powwow to honor Bethany and her achievements. It was not just a career highlight, but a core memory the Carhartt Women's team hopes to carry with us throughout our lives.
